Immersive Therapy

A somatic evidenced approach to heal trauma and attachment wounds in a multi-day experience

You don’t have to open and close your story one hour at a time. There is another way.

What is Immersive Therapy?

3–5 days | Burlington County, NJ

6 hours of therapy daily at bucolic homestead

Whole body nervous system healing.

Learn to thrive and claim your creative and powerful self.

The immersive therapy program offers deep root work, to address core wounds, so you can heal mind, body, and spirit. Many people who seek immersive therapy have tried regular therapy and find themselves ready for deeper healing. They are ready to get to the root.

Rather than opening and closing your story each week, you will be held in an extended, unfolding process — free to explore your healing without the constraints of a traditional session.

Together we will determine your needs, intentions and goals. To guide and personalize your experience I will combine a variety of therapeutic approaches such as; attachment, play, somatic, bilateral work, EFT, Prolonged Exposure, IFS, Dance/Movement and expressive therapies and eco-therapy.

You can attend an immersive multi-day therapy program by yourself or with your family.

Have you worked with me before? A mini therapy retreat might be right for you. A Mini Retreat is a three-to-six hour immersive experience for those who have already worked with me. Whatever is calling you back, I will meet you where you are and craft the experience around what you need right now.

Can I work with you if I have a regular therapist?

Yes, many people who come to work with me have therapists they see for regular work. Sometimes it is their ongoing therapists who make the referral for an immersive therapy retreat or for somatic work specifically. After the Immersive Retreat clients return to their primary therapist. A primary therapist can also help prepare you for your immersive therapy retreat and provide support upon your return home.

Can I come from out of state?

Absolutely, I have had people attend from out of state and from out of the country. See the planes, trains and automobile section to get a sense of what airports and train stations are the closest.

How many days will I need?

The length of your retreat will be determined at your intake after we discuss your specific needs and goals.

What is the process to set up an Immersive Therapy Program?

I am so glad you asked.

  1. You hit one of those free consult buttons on the website.

  2. I will reach out to confirm you are scheduled for the consult.

  3. If you want to go forward we will schedule your intake at the end of the consult. An intake can take 2 to 3 hours and the cost of an intake is $250. The intake is very important in determining if Immersive Therapy will be a good fit for you at this time.

  4. You will receive paperwork to fill out. You will send it back before your intake and then we will be able to move forward with your intake.

  5. We hold the intake. If it seems like a good fit then the Immersive is scheduled and a time slot is reserved for you with a 50% payment.

  6. You will receive a welcome email to help get you ready for your immersive.

  7. You will arrive for your Immersive on the scheduled day. The credit card on file will be charged on the morning of the first day of your program.

Who do you work with?

My clients are women, gender-expansive people, and families, many who have experienced trauma to their bodies and hearts; insecure love and attachment, sexual abuse, intimate partner violence, autoimmune, injury, infertility, peri-menopause struggles and grief.
